A Report of Abdominoplasty after removal of vertical scar on the midline of lower abdomen

Abstract

|
A 30 year old housewife was admitted to our medical center because of a vertical scar on the midline of the abdomen whith dermochalasis, striae and fat tissue accumulation.
The duration of the vertical scar was 4 years, and the scar was due to a hysterectomy. The vertical scar on the lower abdomen measured about 1 cm x 10 cm in size. On physical examination, there were no specific abnormal findings except the above C/C. There are many ways to repair vertical scars on the abdomen and abdominoplasty. On this patient reverse T abdominoplasty was carried out.
There was no aesthetic or functional disturbance of the abdomen and the deformity was also minimal
